Dreaming

Can human acts transcend the shape of reality? Can our everyday life acts be defined by means of vibrations, colors, rhythms, intensity? These questions are the spirit of the works Human Acts while the search for possible answers has shaped the painting experiences that resulted in a collection of large canvases with an abstract language. In this way, our human everyday acts such as thinking, chewing, loving and many etcs are described through the language of painting. This means that each of these acts has undergone the process of being unleashed from the boundaries of real world; to become just moving color dancing with the rhythm of unconscious vibrations.
The project Gestures & Rhythms wants to shed light on the subtle forces that make every repeated action unique, thus a means to embrace eternity. The ambition of this unrestrained pursuit is to transcend the layer of objectual reality in order to plunge ourselves into the mutable reality of our minds. Inspired in texts such as “Nudity” by Giorgio Agamben and Duchamp’s definition of art, this project studies the possibilities of retinal painting and the boundaries of painting’s “little circle”.
